Nice to see us being written off again after Saturday's defeat. The manner of the loss was a touch worrying but it's not as damaging as many would have you believe.
Bobby was quick to point out that draws in our last two games would have been viewed as less detrimental to our title hopes, despite gaining a point less!
Similarly, defeat at Anfield would not be the end of our championship
challenge given our remaining fixtures.
At New Year we lost at home to Chelsea and then at Old Trafford and our title ambitions "went up in smoke".
But five wins and a draw has kept us in there and with Arsenal still to go to
Old Trafford others will drop points.
A final note of congratulations to Tommy Craig's reserves who shook off a
poor result against Sheff Wed to thump table-toppers Man United 5-2. Happily the MUTV cameras were there to capture our win for the third year running.
