Well, end of year time again, and like many others, we'll try to sum up the last 12 months in a few short lines.
The Good:
1. Arsenal 1 Newcastle 3 Dec 2001, four years of hurt: had stopped believing.
2. Two trips to Leeds, two magnificent victories. Home fans aghast.
HO HO HO.
3. Making it 21 years unbeaten in the dark place some folk call Wearside.
4. Mick Wadsworth being run out of toon.
5. Hilarious back door intertoto entry.
The Bad:
1. The continued presence of Marcelino.
2. Crucial injuries to vital players.
3. Bargain basement signings of sub-standard defenders Quinn and Elliott.
4. The continued presence of D.Hall esq.
5. Another year of self-inflicted disasters and PR own goals from the PLC and club. When will we ever learn?
