However, he's also endured serious injury and loss of form, and taken his fair share of criticism. While he never won a trophy with Newcastle, his Semi-Final goals shot us to Wembley in successive years, and at one stage it looked as if his form in front of goal and partnership with Les Ferdinand would see the Premiership trophy make its way to St.James' Park.
