Tommy Craig commented: "It was good to see Kieron Dyer get a good 70 minutes under his belt, he put a real shift in. "I took him off as a precaution. He was fine and had enjoyed the game - in fact he was reluctant to come off - but I felt it was better that he come off rather than get slowly fatigued." "I was delighted with the win. It was a hard-earned win against a very direct Bolton team. Everyone put a real shift in."
A goal four minutes from time by defender
Steven Taylor gave Tommy Craig's side victory at Leyland against their Bolton
counterparts on Monday evening. After an energetic display, a tiring Dyer was
substituted on 72 minutes, with the home side levelling seven minutes later
through London-born striker Ricky Shakes, who cut out Steven Taylor's attempted
back pass to Caig. Biffa |
