30 mins Guy shot 1-0 Full time: Boro 1 Newcastle 2

"I thought we shaded it over
the 90 minutes. We were disappointed to give the penalty away but the young side
did very well with some good individual performances."
A winning goal in added time at the end of the second half gave our reserves victory in a rescheduled fixture away to the Gasmask XI second string at their training ground. And it was midfielder Matty Pattison who came off the subs bench to get on the end of Richard Offiong's pull-back and preserve our unbeaten record this season against our Tees and Wear counterparts. We had deservedly led at half time thanks to a Lewis Guy effort on 30 minutes but were pegged back when Peter Ramage upended an opponent in the area and Craddock drove the resultant penalty past Ben Smith in the United goal. Then came Pattison's winner to end our away campaign on a winning note.
