Former Hearts player Gary Locke
pulled
one back for Bradford when a mix-up between Marcelino and Karelse
gifted a goal on 63 minutes
3-1 90 mins Midfielder Stuart Green got the fifth in the final minute with
a pile driver from just inside the area, after a few earlier warm
ups had been saved or whistled past the goal. Unfortunately, as he
turned away, arms aloft, Messrs Wadsworth and Robson were just
leaving the ground and missed the strike.
5-1
To follow....
A naturally content Tommy Craig said: "I am delighted, that was our best performance of the season, especially in the first 45 minutes where we played some excellent football. "The pitch was wet and slippy but we used that to our advantage to produce some terrific passing football. It was a night of star performances but Jamie McClen was particularly outstanding and set us going with some excellent one and two touch passing. "All in all it was a lovely way to round off the league campaign."
The Reserves ended the season in some
style with their fourth victory on the road, and highest tally of
the campaign. It was sweet revenge for the
Stiffs who had lost 2-1 at home to Bradford earlier in the season
and also for the 6-3 stuffing at Valley Parade last year. Biffa |
